About Me

I am a married father of three.  I am a common man with a love of God and country.  The news I hear each day coming from Washington worries me.  The general populace’s apathy and/or ignorance about so many important issues affecting this country appalls me.

This blog was begun as a way to coalesce my ideas on a number of topics faced by the government of this great country.  I see our country on a path followed by other empires throughout history – a path that led them to their eventual demise.  I believe, however, that we can veer from this path and maintain the leadership position held by our United States of America.

Our leaders were elected by us to represent us and far too often it appears they have lost touch with that fact.  Unfortunately, we, the people, are mostly to blame because we refuse to educate ourselves on the matters affecting our country and worse yet, we continue to send the same politicians back to office election after election even after they have proven to have a deaf ear to what their constituents want.

The time to change is now.  Our founding fathers meant for the government to serve the people, not the other way around and yet, we meekly allow more and more of our freedom to be taken from us each year.

I am but one voice, but it has to start with me.
